My name is Claire and I have been a PE teacher and worked within education for almost 20 years. I decided to have a change in career and have recently become a qualified level 4 sports massage therapist.I am a mum of 2 boys, and family means the world to me. I have always had a love for sport and physical activity playing netball for 20 years, regularly attending the gym where I also love a cheeky swim with my son, I have done a bit of running in my time completing 10k’s and half marathons. I have a lovely new treatment room that I converted from my home and it's ready to welcome new clients. Although sports massage has predominantly been linked with sports people it has so many benefits to us all and so anyone that struggles with daily aches and pains can benefit from this soft tissue treatment.I can assess and recognise posture issues and educate my clients on how to improve through massage, stretches and strengthening exercises. Existing or new injuries can be assessed and a treatment plan be put in place specific to each individual. Many ongoing illness and disease can seek benefits from soft tissue massage, including conditions like Rheumatoid arthritis, MS just to name a few as massage can help mobilises the muscles and joints to ease pain and discomfort.Sports massage has so many benefits for us all!
